IT IS OK TO QUESTION MY FAITH
Often in life there may be times when events cause us to have questions that we need answers to. The lord knows that with all the propaganda and false information will cause me to question myself as well as any person. In the very existence of God, Heaven and Hell, it’s to question because he is the God that answers. I must prepare myself for the answer that I’m questioning. I’m seeking and cultivating growth and development in my relationship with him.
There was a man who had a son which had epilepsy. He had taken him to the disciples, and they couldn’t heal him. The man told Jesus “I believe but help my unbelief.” We know even in Jesus’s time, people dealt with unbelief. When we live our lives in the sense realm, situations can sometimes seem unstoppable. We must remember Jesus is here to help us. In our own weakest moments, He shows His strength. The father of the child asked for Jesus’s help and Jesus immediately responded to his request. He healed the son and the man’s faith was increased. Our doubtfulness when it pushes us to a closer relationship with him creates a place of confidence in God’s ability to increase our faith.
