our mission

To provide adequate, safe, affordable housing for low to moderate income single families in Mobile County and surrounding area; to aid in fulfilling the American dream of home ownership.

Program Overview

The Life Center CDC Affordable Housing Program helps with the total home buying experience, from financial counseling, credit rebuilding, home buyers’ classes, family counseling, classes and seminars on personal financial management, loan qualifying, aid in securing loan construction, and permanent financing, approval and more.

The Life Center is a 501c3 community development corporation located at 351 south craft highway, Chickasaw, Alabama. its founder and president is Dr. Henry W. Roberts, II.
