The Stop The Madness Community Summit was initiated in 2006 in response to news that community violence was on the rise in metropolitan Mobile.
The Summit has now become an annual community outreach event. The faces you see on the flyer
on this page are the faces of victims of violent crimes in our city over the past several years. One of the major goals of
the Summit is to keep these faces in remembrance of those in the community, in hopes of deterring the violence that we have been
inflicting on ourselves.
The Summit is open to all types of community service groups and churches that serve our metropolitan communities. Please contact
the office at (251) 456-2652 for more information on how your group or church can volunteer services on this great day! |
